Program Information

The Annual Chamber Award & Recognition Dinner was held
September 30,2010 at Brookwoods Country Club. 

There were awards given to the 12 businesses of the Month as well as recognition to three special businesses.  Gordon Beh and his family were awarded the Citizen of the Year for 2010. The Pines of Peace was awarded the Community Organization of 2010, Sherry VerStraete accepted the award. Leo Spezio accepted the Business Improvement Award for 2010 for his company, Rochester Equipment. We had a great time and there were donated prizes from over 50 companies in Ontario.  Bob Kelsch, Town Supervisor, Frank Robusto and Jason Ruffell, Councilmen, and Barry Virts, Wayne County Sheriff were present to honor all of our Chamber Members. The dinner was open to the public, and we had over 60 people in attendance.  A good time was had by all.  Save the date for next year and join us. It is a wonderful opportunity to network with all the companies in town and meet new people.

                                                     3) Wine Tasting and Tour of a Local Winery

The Ontario Chamber of Commerce maintains a booth at L.W. Emporium, 6355 Knickerbocker Rd., Ontario, New York. The booth is stocked with free tourism brochures and information about Wayne County and other Counties within New York State.  L. W. Emporium is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
