GET CHARGED UP AT TOWN HALL

For those with electric vehicles – it is now possible to get them charged while visiting the Library, Town Court or Town Hall at no cost to you. 

The twin tower electric vehicle charging station at Town Hall was made possible through a grant from Charge Ready NY. The promotion of electric vehicle charging is part of a state-wide effort to conserve energy and some of the natural resources that produce that energy.  Under the terms of the grant there will be no user cost from now until August 13, 2024. 

The station is available for use 24/7.

Electrical vehicle owners who are visiting the library, town offices or the Town Court are encouraged to give the charging station a try. The station is located along the south edge of the Town Hall front parking lot.  

Other energy projects in the town include the nearly completed conversion to LED streetlights, energy audits of town facilities and a never-ending search for the most favorable energy rates.
