Dredging of Bear Creek to start Friday August 27, 2021 

■ Dredging will start Friday August 27^th.  They cannot delay until late September as previously agreed upon due to the availability of the equipment. 

■ Workers will be accessing the Harbor by barge. They will move the barge to Bear Creek every day and return every day to Pultneyville harbor. 

■ Residents will still be able to launch boats, yet they could experience delays while dredging takes place. Once the barge moves to the placement area, they will be able to launch. Dredging will not take place on weekends and Labor Day. 

■ Dredging will take place on August 27, 30, 31, September 1, 2, & 3. 

■ Dredging at Bear Creek will ensure that the harbor remains open and safe for both visitors and those who call the town of Ontario home. We are thankful for the continued partnership with the State, this will be a great improvement for boaters.
