Ontario Community Center Re-opening Information
We hope that you are well and have been enjoying the beautiful summer! Under direction from Governor Cuomo and the Wayne County Department of Health, the Ontario Community Center re-opened on Monday, September 14, 2020, at 8:00am for members only. In order to comply with the given directives, we have installed the MERV 13 filters along with an UV lighting system that has put us in compliance with the Governor's mandate. In accordance with the Governor's mandate, the Ontario Community Center can be utilized by current or future Community Center members only. This action is needed in order to ensure we meet the requirement of contact tracing and capacity restrictions. New memberships may be obtained by appointment only. Please contact Kimberly Millard at 315.524.7020 to setup an appointment or with any questions.
In addition to the physical changes within the Ontario Community Center, a registration component along with additional protocols have been instituted in order to comply with the Governor's mandate. These protocols will include but are not limited to mandatory registration for all venues, classes and programs held at the Ontario Community Center. The registration component is available through an online portal that was emailed to all active members. Please contact the Community Center with any questions.
All memberships have been frozen since March 16, 2020, which means that the last six months have not gone against membership contracts nor have they been billed during this time. Billing will resume on October 1, 2020.
We have missed you and welcome back to the Ontario Community Center. Be safe and well.
